
Tony Hoops - Thursday 7pm "Using sport to become an elite competitor and leader"
Tony Hoops enters his fourth year as the Director of Athletics at Bethel College. Hoops spent three seasons as head coach of the Bethel men's basketball program and held both responsibilities during the 2017-18 season. Prior to that, Hoops served as the Head Men's Basketball Coach at Halstead High School for 3 years and Herington High School for 4 years while teaching physical and health education at both schools.
During his tenure as athletic director at Bethel, Hoops has had a hand in re-energizing Thresher Athletics. The Threshers have seen improvement on the competition front as well with the Threshers having their highest placing this past year in the KCAC Commissioners Cup in school history. Hoops has been instrumental in guiding the Bethel Athletic Department to becoming a Champions of Character 5 Star Gold standard school each of the past three years, a first in school history.
Aside from Hoops’ duties as Athletic Director, he chairs the Student-Athlete Leadership Team (SALT), and Bethel College FCA committee.
Hoops played basketball at Bethel from 2001-05 and was an Academic All-American in 2005 and KCAC Academic All-Conference player in 2003, 2004, and 2005. He was a member of the 2003 KCAC Championship team and played in the 2003 NAIA National Tournament, the first and only in Bethel history. He also ran track at Bethel in 2003.
Tony received his Bachelor of Science from Bethel in 2005 with a degree in Health Management (Health and Physical Education) and a minor in Coaching. He received his Masters of Science degree in School Leadership and Administration from Baker University in 2013.
Hoops is actively involved in the Kansas Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He is married to his wife Kelli, and their children Kendri, and Tysen reside in Newton.

Mark Potter - Thursday 8pm “Mental Health in Sports”
Coach Potter inspires and challenges audiences with his real story of victory over severe depression. He was a head men’s basketball coach for 30 years, but left coaching to pursue his passion for educating and motivating people from all occupations. Potter speaks on many topics including motivation and mental toughness, but his greatest passion lies in his personal battle with severe depression. He has been on a crusade to educate people about depression and encourage others suffering from mental illness to seek assistance. His passion is to share his story in hopes that people will pursue treatment and find a way to live productively with mental illness.
Potter has been coach of the year five times and named top 15 most influential people in the Wichita sports world. He’s been inducted into the Cowley College Hall of Fame, the Newman University Hall of Fame, the Wichita Sports Hall of Fame, and most recently, the National Baseball Congress Hall of Fame. The basketball court at Newman University was named ‘The Potter Family Court’ in 2013.

Alan Vogts - Friday 7pm "informational discussion on the book, Younger Next Year" & Saturday 10am “Start Thinking Your Way to Success”
Alan is a local Businessman with an Entrepreneurial spirit who has started various local businesses over the last 30 years. Alan is also a former 3 sport collegiate athlete. He has a passion for mentoring young business leaders and athletes in their pursuit of successful performance.

Hannah Mosher - Friday 7:30pm "Decide. Do. Dream."
Hannah Mosher started her fitness career at just three years old, dancing at a local dance studio. At eleven year old, she was asked to join the competition team, and danced competitively across New England. She has received training from Broadway Dance Center, from instructor Nancy Borey of ABT, Jacob's Pillow, and NYC Ballet, and from various workshops including some led by Travis Wall of So You Think You Can Dance. She graduated from her studio at sixteen-years-old, and was asked to return as an instructor. She taught at various local dance studios for five years before branching off and turning her passion for dance into a drive to help build a healthier community.
Hannah decided to launch Faith and Fitness - a ministry dedicated to educating and implementing healthier lifestyles, both externally and internally. She became certified in PiYo, completed Spin and Personal Training courses, and even created a flexibility and core-strengthening program called ELASTICIZE. After meeting her husband, Eric, they decided to take their love of fitness to the next level, and opened a small gym in Massachusetts - Common Ground Fitness Center. They specialized in group fitness classes, and owned and operated this facility for over two years before new opportunities arose in Newton, Kansas.

Dr. Timothy Caldwell - Friday 8pm "Nutrition 101"
Dr. Caldwell is the founder of Genuine Effort, and is a retired primary care physician who has a Doctorate of Chiropractic medicine from the University of Wyoming. he has years of training in neurology and brain physiology in addition to his degrees in biology and human anatomy.

Sierra Moeller - Saturday 11am "Mental Toughness"
Sierra grew up in Pierre, South Dakota. She played basketball and graduated with a degree in athletic training from Washburn University. Since moving to Kansas, she is the head athletic trainer at El Dorado High School in El Dorado. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, home improvement projects, and being in the great outdoors. She is excited to start her business after buying her first home last year in South Dakota, and added, "Your home is your sanctuary. I knew I wanted to help others find a house to make their home."
Sierra played college basketball at Boise State, starting as a true Freshman and then transferred to Washburn University where she graduated with her Bachelors of Science Degree in Applied Science in 2013.

Jordan Voelker - Saturday 12pm “Lessons from K-Sate Football”
As a successful walk-on with the Kansas State University football team, Jordan went in knowing the only way to earn a scholarship would be to demonstrate both physical and scholastic excellence. His efforts earned a full scholarship and a starting defensive end position with the nationally recognized Wildcats, a Big XII team that made great strides during his tenure under the guidance of great leadership.
Achievements like this have shaped his approach to every aspect of work. Jordan’s unique experience in handling the national spotlight paired with his natural sense to work as a team offers an opportunity for everyone to experience a committed, dedicated and bottom-line enhancing workplace contributor.

Dr. Deanna Lesmeister - Saturday 1pm “Women’s Fitness”
Not only is Dr. Deanna a skilled Doctor of Physical Therapy, she is also a nationally Certified Pilates instructor for the last 20 years, combining her Pilates and PT knowledge and experience to help her patients reach the best outcomes possible. Her commitment and work ethic, combined with her positive attitude and eagerness to take on all challenges, allows her to work with patients and clients from all walks of life. Her enthusiasm and energy can fill up a room.
